Why do motivational speakers like Tony Robbins get the big bucks? Because people get a good feeling from the motivation they feel at these seminars.
A good speaker can get $10,000 to $200,000 for one speech. People like to be inspired and reminded of their own potential!
What's wrong with that?
The debate about self-help is fueled by stuff like Robbins' divorce right after writing "The Perfect Marriage."
You hear all kinds of things about motivation because it is real! People recognize that feeling good is essential for success - it's hard to think clearly when problems are heavy on your shoulders, so a burst of feel-good (the legal kind) works wonders for mental and physical health alike!

An even better drug than motivation is an accomplishment. Talk about uplifting!
You worked hard and can see the fruits. You beat a harmful habit.
You got the bowling trophy, a promotion with a big raise, whatever.
It would not have happened without the prior enjoyment of motivation. When it's more fun to make plans and follow them (in anticipation of the even bigger rewards), we might actually do it more.

Excuse this departure from policy, but here is an excellent opportunity to present a 'testimonial' without the typical urgency you may find elsewhere: The following email gave us here at the Sprudio a real lift because people are recognizing the quality we have achieved (name withheld, we're discrete):

"You are the best! Please feel free to use my feedback on your site. I listen to either the Positive Thinking or Millionaire Mind files at least once a day if not twice per day. It is really amazing how well it works. My husband loves the Meditation and Relaxation mp3 he purchased. He listens to it at night before going to bed and it has really helped him sleep better at night. Besides awesome customer service, you are the only company which offers the mp3 downloads which are great for mobility." ... and "...The music choices you guys make are awesome and they relax me."
