Let's Make This Year Fun and Positive

Tough, but do-able. Planning ahead can turn disaster into success! You know it's coming, so why not go with the flow, as they say, and get into a holiday spirit for the good of everyone? This is for those who have trouble during the yearly barrage of upsets to your routine. Folks who thrive on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas, New Year's, et cetera, can ignore this edition if you like, but bear in mind that many of your colleagues and family experience extreme stress during these end-of-year rituals.

Many of us have trouble getting into the Holiday Spirit, and sadly, many people don't even know what it feels like! The average person has up years and down years in this area, naturally- so let's see if we can help make this year less stressful and more fun, as it should be.

First: Don't get behind. Nothing is worse than beating yourself up later for stuff that would have been easy. Get yourself a little secret notebook to track ideas and progress, like a spy on a mission. Your mission, Jim, if you decide to accept it, is to make people happy. Incidently, you are a people too, so your mission includes getting or staying happy during this time as well. If you're low on funds, be creative. Do things for your family and/or friends and be a positive force for them. If you have resources, make your notes and then act early without selfishness- it will pay off in ways that you can't imagine this early. In fact, start making notes now to beat the rush.

Secondly, now that you have the right attitude for success (and a pen or pencil), you can start writing down your ideas. Nothing is written in stone, as they say, but you might get that extra edge by paying attention, starting now. List the people and animals that count, along with your ideas; and remember, this is a secret mission! Your efforts could actually set the tone for the whole entire next full complete year! Try to be organized; some of us can do this, and many cannot- but the act of trying will produce a better result than stressing over the whole ordeal. Keep in mind the fact that actual gifts are secondary. Making people feel good is primary, yourself included. Consider each person's level of religious fervor in your planning, too. Some are definitely more caught up in the season than others.

Finally, you can start acting on those notes as opportunities arise or you have a little extra time to go to that certain store or order a unique item on the internet; and don't quit your newly-acquired Positive Holiday Mentality (PHM) for any reason whatsoever! The fruits of your labors will be huge! You don't care if they get you a gift, because the spirit of giving is the greatest gift. In fact, giving is the gift that you are giving to yourself to ultimately result in success, happiness, fulfillment and satisfaction for yourself and as many humans around you as possible. So, this third step is essential in order to color your holiday season brightly and with a confidence that will help to carry you through 2008 in a positive and successful manner.

Hopefully our quality audio products, disc or download, might fit into your holiday plans in some way or another, but this message is just intended to help prepare and enlighten those who typically come up a little short during the hardest time of the year. Happy Holiday season to all from the Sprudio and may your team win, your plans work out and everyone around you be glad you're there always.
