Q: What's the difference between subliminal and hypnosis audio?
A: The short answer to this is that subliminal audio messages are hidden and can be more easily used than hypnosis (by merely playing the discs). Hypnosis -which is in this case always self-hypnosis- requires a conscious effort by the user to follow verbal instructions contained in the recording. Both types are intended to bring the user into a suggestible state of mind so that the specific content will be most effective.
Q: Can self help take the place of my doctor? I would really like to fire him.
A: Are you serious? While many doctors would be hard-pressed to cure chapped lips, and others just want your money, listening to a CD could hardly mend broken bones or serious health issues such as real diseases! No! Change doctors if you like, but we cannot claim to replace medical professionals.
Q: Does subliminal really work?

Q: If ultra-silent subliminal audio is not audible at all, how do I know anything is there? Same question for regular subliminal tracks- thanks.
A: It takes special software or audio analysis equipment to reveal the signal that is located at the inaudible frequency range. The waveform is there, in our product at least- we know because we put it there. If anyone doubts the existence of the silent track, they are of course welcome to take the CD to a professional audio specialist to get an oscilloscope or spectograph shot of its content. We have included a snapshot of one of our subliminal authoring tools in action, below in the next answer.
Q: How do you create subliminal CDs?
A: First, you take a whole bunch of computer software classes so you can run the many programs involved. You take at least one good hypnosis course to understand the psychological principles involved in your product. You then search for, locate and acquire high qualty content files and the appropriate rights for legal re-selling of each- for example, fine unique music, nature sounds and of course the theraputic verbiage. You can use pre-recorded files, speak into the microphone or use a good voice robot, or a combination of all three. You buy high quality recording hardware and software, test it, learn to burn your mixtures onto the best blank CDs, and test them again and again. Q: What are NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and brainwave generators?
A: Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) is a personal development system defined by one of its developers, John Grinder, as "the study of excellence and how to reproduce it." NLP is based upon the theory that people generally possess the necessary resources for success within themselves (Wikipedia article). It is a controversial system that has evidently been used, abused, criticized, altered and generally put through the scientific wringer since its inception in the 1970's. In our case, NLP is merely used for positive-reinforcing verbal content in our audio. We chose it because of personal preference as the best personal therapy communication tool out there. Please read the "Concepts and Methods" section (2) of the Wikipedia article cited and linked above! Note- we also create subliminal language content with the following theory in mind: The subconscious is known to ignore modifiers (especially negative ones) when presented with an idea. It hears the subject and focuses according to its own rules. So for example, a golfer is consciously afraid of a water hazard. He or she is thinking "Don't hit the ball into the lake." Or in basketball: "Don't miss!" The subconscious naturally hears "lake" or "miss." These thoughts usually result in penalty strokes and airballs. The conscious is interfering with performance by focusing upon underlying fears. With this in mind we avoid negative words in all of our subliminal scripting, including habit improvement, fears & phobias, and help for addictions. Is there anything in the subliminal messages that I should worry about, or any advertising?

Are your products guaranteed to work?
A: That depends on what you mean by "work." Our CDs will not magically change you by themselves or instantly delete a deeply rooted phobia. They are, however, guaranteed against flaws, breakage and failure to play. This does not mean that you can hurl your CD into a wall and then eMail us that it is broken. If for some reason the disc won't play, contact us. Every CD is meticulously checked for scratches and smudges prior to shipment. If it arrives cracked or damaged by the "OOPS" people, contact us. Our products will play correctly (in any reasonably modern machine), contain what we say they contain, and they will help you.
Q: You have a lot of titles, some of which look like they could be the same inside. Are they? If not, how can I choose the best one for me?
A: Good eye! No two titles contain exactly the same internal content; but, some are very similar to one another. Also, some of our titles are positioned in more than one category. You need to read the descriptions carefully to find the best match. If you don't find one that meets your specific need, consider one of our relaxation technique, motivation or general self-confidence type CDs. Our time management series is popular, too.
Q: Do you ship to other countries or just the USA? I had trouble with your shopping cart.

Q: Do you have any videos? I saw some relaxation DVD's on the internet, and I was wondering if anyone made them with subliminal audio inside.
A: Funny you should ask that particular question! Have you been listening to our psychic development CDs? Yes, we are working on a new line of High-Definition DVDs, with and without subliminal content. And they are going to be awesome! Q: I really don't want my particular issues made public- is there a way to maintain some privacy with regard to the actual labels on discs, cases or download file names?
A: Excellent question! Of course we can provide creative labels on any product, since we assemble each product with the individual in mind; simply send us an e-mail, you'll see the link on the order page- just request discreet labelling and we'll surely get the message. This is not uncommon. We protect our clients' information; we never send 'spam' or sell email addresses to mailing list predators (MLP) either. In the case of downloaded filenames, most would be unrecognizable anyway but you can always rename the file to "learning_astronomy_subliminally.mp3" or anything else, once you own it! Delete the original email or alter it if you share your computer with someone who might not understand. See, we are here to help. Yes you can. Follow this instructions:
1) Download the MP3 file to your PC. I suggest that
to download the file into the "My Music" folder onyour PC to make it
easier to find, or desktop.
2) Open the iTunes application. In the iTunes application,
make sure "Music" is highlighted in the "Library". Go to the top and select
"File". From the drop down list select "Import". Import
the MP3 file from the "My Music" folder or from which ever folder you
downloaded the file to on your PC.
3) Once the file is copied into the iTunes music library, add the MP3 to any existing playlist or create a new playlist for subliminal
files. To add the MP3 to a playlist, highlight the MP3
file in the music library and then right mouse click and select add to
playlist. Select the appropriate playlist.
Q: When I play the CD with iTune I get different information then what the CD is labeled.

This labeling problem is not due to the CD itself. It is caused by the Gracenote (formerly CDDB) online song recognition database service used by iTunes, WinAmp and other media players. The Gracenote/CDDB service can erroneously identify the contents of audio CDs. It is a common error with indie or non-major label albums and even some major label artists because the actual Gracenote/CDDB database is created by the users themselves so the room for error becomes even greater. People may enter the info incorrectly. Also, the service itself can simply mislabel tracks because it will often make a "best guess" based upon the number of tracks on the album and the length of the tracks which can be problematic when albums have few tracks or the tracks have the same length which happens to be the case for this particular CD.
Unfortunately, it is an issue that is caused by third party software which happens to be created by users so human error is great.There is not much that can be done to fix or avoid these titling errors other than manually editing the titles to correct them yourself, but the errors are definitely caused by the online song database, and not the CD itself. A quick search online produced the following info about these Gracenote/CDDB errors which are quite common and to be expected considering the fact that Gracenote and other song recognition databases are compiled by the users themselves.
"The GraceNote service suffers from an overwhelming number of errors and duplicate entries in their database, and without a focus to reduce duplicates"
"The Gracenote problem is large indeed. Because the data in the Gracenote CDDB database is entered by end users, there are few, if any, quality controls. In other words, the data is created by amateurs. Gracenote data is inconsistent, incorrect, and has lots of spelling errors. Also, it basically destroys any classical music tags rendering most of the pieces useless in an iPod. Personally, I try to fix all the data in iTunes. "

"There is widely held misconception that iTunes gets track data from CD-TEXT, or some other mechanism that burns titles on the CD. That is not the case.. iTunes gets CD track data from an online database called Gracenote (CDDB). Users upload information to this database directly from iTunes via the Advanced/ Submit CD Track Names menu, and iTunes automatically consults this database on disc insertion. Gracenote identifies each disc by a combination of total number of tracks, total disc time and time of the first track. This identifier is pretty reliable and close to unique, but it's not foolproof- the fewer tracks there are on the disc, the more likely that disc matches a disc that someone else has uploaded- and until you submit your CD into the database, Gracenote has no way of being aware of your disc, so it either shows you something else that matches or presents you with a list of possible matches and asks you to choose one. I recently had a client call me in a panic because his iTunes told him his 3-song EP was a Sarah McLauglin record (he actually suggested that I "gave him the wrong disc"- he didn't even try to play it once he saw that). "
"There are two interesting things about the CDDB: first, the data in them is provided by the users, rather than by the music publishers, and second, the database is full of errors... So of course, there are errors. The information is being provided by end users. We make mistakes. Now, it's not surprising that there are some errors in the CDDB. There would be errors, albeit perhaps to a lesser degree, even if the publishers were providing the data."

I hope that this information helps shed some light on the subject of track labeling errors which are quite annoying but understandably unavoidable in some cases, but the problem is not with the CD itself. It is due to faulty song recognition services.
